Dr. Melanie Knapton graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 & joined Brady Veterinary Hospital the following year. For Dr. Knapton becoming a veterinarian was a career decision that was made at the age of 3. She has always enjoyed animals, but also finds joy in helping people. Her professional interests include; equine medicine, surgery, acupuncture, & chiropractic. She has been working hard to further her knowledge in these areas, completing her training in Veterinary Medical Manipulation through the Integrative Veterinary Medicine Institute (IVMI) in 2016, and Acupuncture through the Chi Institute in 2017.
While not at work, you may find her hiking or horseback riding in the woods, participating in local church events, gardening, or relaxing at home with her husband & their three cats - Pinkie, Skunk, & Gabi.
